If you know the meaning of such idiom as "nothing is permanent but temporal", life might become a lot easier. There is no point to make for the sake of argument, for the target is to shift all the time.

By the time you think you found the target, it already is gone for some time and to other places. And therefore it would be a futile attempt to fix your point of view toward the object to start with.

The Western thought always wanted to see the world through the lens of God's, however, while the Oriental depends upon the transient concept of things in Nature.

When the East conquered the West in 13th century in force, Genghis Khan had never attempted to assimilate the Eastern way of thinking to theirs. He invited many religious leaders and philosophers into his court to listen their belief. It was supposedly done by that principle based on the teaching of Chinese sages like 孔-孟子 as well as 老-莊子 in their works.

We, Korean were born in that legacy of tradition, but live in the land influenced by the Western culture, which has been formed for thousand years through the doctrine of Christianity. Due to this discrepancy of separate thought heritage, we often confuse to see the current Western phenomena through lens of Oriental cultural backgraound only to cause conflicts not only in him/herself but also among us, who live in their society, notwithstanding in Korea itself.

One could believe he/she stands on a firm ground between the two, but it actually shaky foundation underneath because the assertion he or she might make is coming from that of no man's island. One day an Oriental, and next day an Occidental, or one minute ago this person, and in the next moment another

Does anybody care for this kind of capriciousness in their thought process, in other words, one changes mind so often as such unknowingly about what they are talking about? Of course not, because they do not know on what ground their opinion is coming from.

This concept of "ever changing" is originated from Chinese philosophy so called 易經 or I-Ching, also known as the Classic of Changes or Book of Changes in English, is an ancient divination text and the oldest of the Chinese classics, likewise Zen Buddhism as well.

Simply put, if there is one idea, then against which the opposite arises. They struggle for some time only to settle to another form of idea, called 'synthesis. This kind of movement is to say natural as per Hegel or the Oriental thinking. And so, we people at this open forum could not avoid the constant verbal abuse, not because of different opinions of sort but personal ignorance of what they are doing so, no matter of what rational explanation to be applied, likewise in Korean political and social conflict between a group of people and their followers who praise the Kim's communist kingdom and the rest who try to stand firm on the principle of free market under the democracy.
