 어느 방송국(?) 장수 프로그램에 출연한
 92세 된 할머니에게 아나운서가 묻는 말에
 A 92-year-old grandmother appeared on a long-running program
 on a certain broadcasting station.
 The announcer asked her a question.
 
 할머니의 익살과 재치가 넘치는 정말 멋진 대답입니다.
 The grandmother's answer was truly wonderful,
 brimming with wit and humor.
 
 “할머니, 금년 연세가 어떻게 되시는지요?”
 “응, 제조(製造)일자가 좀 오래 됐지.”
 "Grandma, how old are you this year?"
 "Yes, the manufacturing date is a bit old.“
 
 “할머니, 요즘 건강은 어떠하신지요?”
 “응, 나, 이제 유통기한이 거의 다 되어간다 싶네.”
 "Grandma, how's your health these days?"
 "Yeah, I think it's almost past its expiration date.“
 
 “할머니, 혹시 주민등록증 가지고 계시면
 저에게 한번만 보여주실 수 있으신지요?”
 "Grandma, if you happen to have your resident registration card,
 could you show it to me just once?“
 
 “에구, 주민등록증을 어디다 뒀나 통 기억이 안나.
 대신 골다공증(骨多孔症)은 있는 디 그거라두 보여 줘?”
 “Oh dear, I can’t remember where I put my resident registration card.
 But I have osteoporosis. Can I show me that?”
 
  “할머니, 할아버지는 계셔요?”
 “에휴, 재작년에 말이야.
 "Are Grandma and Grandpa here?"
 "Oh, man, two years ago.
 
 뒷산에 자러간다고 가더니만 아직도 안 일어나는 구먼 그려.”
 He said he was going to sleep on the mountain behind us,
 but he still haven't woken up yet.“
 
 “할머니, 그럼 할아버지 어서 깨우셔야지요.”
 "Grandma, you should wake Grandpa up quickly."
 
 “아녀, 나도 인자 빨리 같이 자러 가야제.
 "No, I should hurry up and go to bed too.“
 
 그 영감 내가 70년 넘게 데리고 살아 봤는디
 너무 오래 혼자 두면 틀림없이 바람 나.”
 “I’ve lived with him for over 70 years,
 and if I leave him alone for too long, he’ll definitely cheat.”
