2020.07.29

Bonjour! C’est KICPC !
As you may notice, this post is related to France.
That is, ‘Criminal Records Check in France’, so called ‘extrait de casier judiciaire en France’..!

....

Before we get into this, i want to have some ice break time !
France is a country that many people like but personally it has special meaning to me.
When I was young just as many people I was so into beautiful French women with red lips that I lear
nt French for about a year. Though I still haven’t have opportunities to have small talk with French people, I am still waiting to say “Une baguette, s’il vous plaît”(a baguette, please) in the very morning when bakeries open in France someday!

So it is no surprise that one of a kind people that I envy is people living in France for whom ordering a baguette is a no big deal-! Today’s post is for these people who have lived in France more than 6 months. You must remember the time, this March, when corona virus spreading fast in France. At that time many people came back to their home country. Some of them returned to France but some decided to stay in their home country a bit more until corona virus calms down.

Then the latter people might need criminal records in France, which is the very basic and essential for identification. Some of them don’t feel the necessity of it till now but they’ll be because this document is one that is asked the most frequently, whether or not in France or not. For instance, when marrying, getting visa or getting a job.

The way to apply this criminal records in France, extrait de casier judiciaire en France, is easy. There are three ways below and thru these, you can get it not just in French but also in English, German and Spanish.

But there is one MUST thing to have in mind. It is police check is only issued in France. If you are outside of France, there is no other way to get it unless you know someone who can get it on behalf of you.

You may think it is not that complicated as you expected. Unfortunately, if you are to submit this police check to other countries, you just walked through a half way. If you are to use this document, extrait de casier judiciaire en France, in France, raise your right hand and tap yourself of running the whole course!

If not, you need to translate, notarize and get certification on the authentication of the document. To be specific, you need to translate it in the language of submit country, notarize the translation to prove the translation is trustful and get the certification that confirms the document is genuine and legal.

Luckily if you are currently staying in countries which admit at least one of French, German, English and Spanish as official language, you don’t need to translate the criminal records check since you can issue it in four languages. But you should process the other steps, notarization and certification.

Now I guess you feel the whole procedure is too complicated.

Don’t worry! KICPC CAN HELP YOU!
