안녕하세요..
이영돈 님이 얼마전 LISC grant apply 보고 따라서 신청 했더니..
오늘(4/29/20) 신청서를 리뷰 중 이라고 email 을 받았고요..
100,000 이 넘는 신청자 중에서 최종선발자를 5/4/2020 그 week에 가린다네요..
덕분에 받을 수 있게 되면 너무 감사하고 좋은 일인데요..
(아래 게시글 작성 하신 분도 나랑 똑 같은 email 받으셨나 봅니다.)
다만 우려돼는 바는 이 LISC 라는 기관이 어떤 곳인지 잘 몰라서 ?
공신력 있는 곳인지, 정말로 Small Business 를 위한 곳인지..?
다시 말해서 사기를 당하는 것은 아닌지 우려 된다는 것입니다.
아래 LISC의 내용을 보면 (최종 선택자는)..
SSN 과 은행정보를 줘야 한다고 그러는데.. 행여 사기는 아닌지 의심 스럽습니다..

이 site로 들어가려 했으나..당시 접속이 잘 안되어 엉뚱한 유사 site(LISC)로 들어 간 것 같습니다.
LISC 의 주소는.. https://www.lisc.org/vision/ 입니다.
그리고 진행자가 말한 건 상공회의소 인 모양인데.. LISC 는 짝퉁 인게 아닌가(?) 하네요.
또한 LISA 는 브라우저 주소창 왼쪽을 보시면 not secure로 나옵니다(지금 알았어요).
LISC 에서 email 받으신 분들 조심하세요.. 제발..
Will there be additional documentation required?
If your business is selected as a finalist, you will be notified via email. Being selected as a finalist does not guarantee you will receive a grant. As a finalist, additional documentation will be required to screen and verify business information for due diligence, which is required by the funding source. This may include a background search that we will conduct and submission of additional information to include verification information such as SSN, TIN/ITIN, EIN, W-9 and appropriate banking information in order to receive funds via ACH if awarded.

마이클 강입니다. 지난번 lisc에 aplication 작성하며 모두가 왜 이리 간단한가 의심을 했을겁니다. 오늘 5월 4일 약 10만명의 신청자 중 일정 인원을 1차 선발합니다. 선발자들에게는 좀 더 많은 서류들을 요구할 겁니다. 만일 채택되시면 준비하시면 될 듯.본선 application은 해당자들에게 이메일로 전송될 예정이라 내용은 아직 모릅니다.

마이클 강입니다. 현재 이런 grant를 신청하는 분들을 노리고 유사 사이트가 많이 나오고 있습니다. 먼저 신청하신 lisc.org는 지난 79년 설립되어 수많은 공공사업을 추진하고 지난 2018년에는 1.5억 달러를 달성했다고 나오는 비영리단체입니다. goodle에서 lisc grant만 치고 검색하여 잘못 들어가면 유사사이트 나옵니다.접수 단계부터 접수비 요구하고요 만일 그란트에 채택이 되셔도 그 수표는 우편으로 보내고 그란트를 어떻게 사용하겠다는 서명서 작성하고,아울러 일정 기간이 지나 사용내역을 보고 하겠다는 서류를 서명합니다,거기에도 소셜을 묻거나 하지는 않을 겁니다.

우선 이영돈님께서 동영상을 통해서 말씀해주신 Grant는 LISC가 맞습니다. 추가 점언에서 말씀하신 savesmallbusiness.com은 다른 프로그램입니다. (이프로그램도 이영돈님께서 소개해주셨는지요?) 이영돈님께서 영상을 통해서 말씀하신건 상공회의소 grant가 아닌 LISC 프로그램입니다. Press Release 2개가 모두 LISC에서 발췌된거라서 혹시 염려하시는것 같아 추가로 확인해보니 Local News 기사도 있습니다. https://www.duluthnewstribune.com/business/small-business/6272972-LISC-launches-new-small-business-grant 또한 $1M 기부한 Sam's Club 사이트에도 LISC에 기부한 사항이 소개되고 있습니다. https://corporate.samsclub.com/giving/coming-together-support-for-small-businesses-impacted-by-the-pandemic 염려하시는 수상한 단체는 아닌듯하여 지나다 몇글자 적습니다.
