Have you ever dreamed studying in Europe?! Well, I have since I was very little because of fantasy of foreign countries and still I want to study there! Also there are a lot more Koreans who want the opportunity study in Europe. Sadly, most are ended just as a dream, not getting realized including me  . It is all because both studying itself and also staying in Europe whose cost of living is a lot much than in Korea will cost you a lot that it is hard to afford.

  However, Poland is an exception. If you get a certain score in preliminary college entrance examination of Poland, so called ‘matura’, you can enter a national university in Poland of which tuition fee is free! Though it is free, the quality of education Poland national university offers superior. Warszawa, for example, is a Poland national university and it is ranked in top 3% of world’s best universities. Moreover, the cost of living in Poland is only a half of Korea, so that you can stay in Poland without worries on money!   

  In these reasons many Koreans are studying in Poland. And when staying there for a long time, there must have occurred some necessity to send Poland document to Korea, not only Korean document to Poland. However, Poland document itself cannot in valid in Korea, just as all documents cannot have validity in foreign countries. 

  To make the Poland document valid in Korea, you need to process three steps! Today I am going to tell you details on these steps and offer some solutions when facing hurdles! Follow me!

  Above four steps are the exact three steps for validation. The very first step is issuance, of course. Issue the document you need. Then the next step is translation. In this step, you should translation all Polish into Korean. Then the next is translation notarization. Get notarization on translation to make sure the translation matches with the original and is reliable. The last step is certification in which you get certified on the authenticity of the document. 

  Unlike three steps, there are two ways to process the last step, apostille and embassy attestation. When the both countries join Hague Convention, you should get apostille to certify. On the other hand, you should get embassy attestation, which is more complicated than apostille. Thankfully, since both two countries, Poland and Korea, are the members of Hague Convention all you need to do in this step is apostille and what that means is that you only need to get the apostille stamp on the document from the country which originally created the document, without getting this reconfirmed from the other country. 

  However, there is one easy-to-forget but critical thing when apostille. That is ‘apostille is only available from the country where the document is originated’. If you are outside of the country, there is no way to get apostille  ! To be specific, if you are in need to submit Poland document to Korea and you are outside of Poland, there is no other way to get apostille, thus making the document valid, on your own.
