For me, literature, film and music serve as a mirror of what i encounter in a foreign land. Milan Kundera and Franz Kafka who is one of the greatest writers of the early twentieth century were my Czech guides and inseparable companions during my short visit to Prague.
APOSTILLE
An Apostille is needed when using a document (e.g. diplomas, birth certificates, powers of attorney, marriage certificates etc) in other country.
It authenticate the seals and signatures of officials, so the document can be recognized in countries that are members of the 1961 Hague Convention Treaty.
CZECHIA
Responsible for issuing the Apostille in the Czech Republic are the following institutions (depending on the type of document to be verified):
The Czech Ministry Justice for judicial documents
The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs for all other documents
For example, if you want to get a Czech Apostille on your diploma, you must first legalize(so-called Super Realizace) your diploma at the Czech Ministry of Education, which consists of getting a stamp certifying the authenticity of your diploma. Once you have had your diploma legalized, take it to the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which will issue the Apostille.
If an authority requires you to provide an Apostille and you not only have little idea what it means, but also find it hard to find any sense in all those laws, regulations, or something, just keep calm and contact us, KICPC!
