델라웨어쪽 리프트를 생각 하심이 물살도 심하지 안고 헌데 너무 길어서 튜브나 보트로 거의 2시간을 타는거라서요.그냥 물흐르는데로 가는거라 말입니다.

NY 근교에서 가장 유명한 래프팅 코스는 델라웨어강 상류지역인데요, NY주와 Penn주 접경지역의 Port Jervis에서 상류로 1시간 정도 올라갑니다만, 가는 도중 절벽을 끼고 꼬불꼬불 도는 길이 있어서 졸면 위험합니다. 올 때 안 졸 자신있으면 시도해볼 만합니다. 절벽 밑으로 흐르는 강을 보는 경치는 죽음이고요. Kittatini Camp Ground에서 캠핑과 래프팅을 다 해결할 수 있는데요. 캠프장 조금 못미쳐 모텔이 있는 것 같아요. 캠핑 싸이트는 일찍 예약하면 강변 싸이트를 구할 수 있는데, 강변 싸이트는 전기와 수도가 없습니다. 도로 건너 본부 쪽 수도를 이용하셔야 해요. 대부분의 숲속 싸이트는 전기가 들어와서 전기 담뇨를 깔고 자고, 전기 밥솥으로 밥을 할 수 있습니다. extention cord 필요하겠지요. 이 곳은 밤에 뱀장어가 많이 나옵니다. 낚싯대 준비해 가세요. 가는 도중에 낚싯점이 있고, 캠프장 본부에도 매점이 있어, 라이센스와 미끼 구할 수 있습니다. 저는 이곳이 뱀잔어 낚싯터로 많이 알려지지 않았을 때 하룻밤 낚시로 20 마리 잡은 적도 있답니다. 요즘은 경찰들이 불법 여부 단속 많이 해요. 낚싯대는 한 사람이 두개 넘게 못하고, 낚시 안할 때 낚시를 물 속에 담거두면 걸립니다
